| Description |
The Extension Education program of Nazarene Bible College is the college extending itself across the United States, preparing men and women for ministry in their own communities. The program was developed as a response to an urgent need for trained ministers to plant and lead multicultural and language churches located mainly in urban settings. To meet this concern, denominational leaders, including the Board of General Superintendents, the Church Growth Division at Nazarene Headquarters, and several district superintendents requested that Nazarene Bible College develop a contextual educational program to train multicultural ministerial students who could not attend a traditional college. This innovative program now has expanded to include Anglo adults in classroom learning opportunities. |
